Testimonials

Our franchisees are some of the best taken care of, most successful franchise owners in the country. Here are some of the wonderful things they have to say about how we support our franchisees and about the dog training methods themselves.

Thanks Everybody!

"When I saw the results and how quickly they achieved these results, I knew this company was the real deal and was something special."

"I came across Sit Means Sit dog training when I was living in Denver, Colorado and was looking for a dog trainer. I was referred to them by a gentleman I met in a dog park. I gave Sit Means Sit a call and a trainer named Anthony Bracciante came out to my home and did a FREE demonstration with a dog he brought with them. I was blown away by how obedient his dog was let alone all the cool tricks the dog was doing. What also jumped out at me was how much fun him and his dog was having just doing the demonstration.

"I thought that's great but would he be able to get my dog under control? I had an Australian Cattle dog with a lot of energy that likes to run and when I would call my dog to me he would not listen and just keep running away. He had other issues like jumping on people, grabbing food off the table among numerous other behavior issues I was challenged with. Anthony did a demonstration with my dog and within a few minutes had my dog totally under control and making eye contact with him. I immediately signed up for the training. Within three weeks of training my dog was completely off leash and listening to me without any distraction that we came across. When I saw the results and how quickly they achieved these results, I knew this company was the real deal and was something special./p>

"I kept my eye on Sit Means Sit over the next year or two and when they opened a training school for dog trainers I knew this was something I needed to be a part of. I did some more research on the company and made the decision to leave my job as an account manager in white collar America. I went to the Sit Means Sit School and opened a franchise location in the Cleveland/Akron, Ohio area where I grew up. Since then I have never looked back. I had no previous experience with dog training and The Sit Means Sit dog training school taught me everything I needed to know.

"They didn't just teach me how to train dogs to levels never seen before but they taught me how to run my own business. After I graduated from their training program I was amazed at the continued support they offer through regional seminars, conference calls, the yearly ‘Main Event’ and our own private group chat list where you can post questions about dog training, marketing or anything relating to your business. The marketing and media attention we get locally and nationally makes it easy to become the leader in your market very quickly. Bottom line - they give you all the tools you need to be successful.

"The thing I love about being a part of the Sit Means Sit family is that they never get complacent. They are constantly showing you ways to ensure you are the best dog trainer in your area. The Sit Means Sit training system is so far advanced from anything you see your competitors doing that when I opened my location I instantly started taking business from the well respected dog trainers in my area that had been around for 20 years. I looked at the dogs my competitors trained and quickly learned that they simply could not produce the same consistent results the Sit Means Sit training system produces. If you want to become a dog trainer and have a dog that makes other dog trainers jealous, Sit Means Sit is the only way to go. I was in the business world for 12 years prior to Sit Means Sit and have never seen, in any industry, a company that is so far ahead of is closest competitors. The great thing is we are not slowing down and continue to pull further ahead. Fred Hassen Founder/CEO of Sit Means Sit dog training is a genius and is continually finding new and innovating ways to assure we stay at the top of the dog training world. If you have a passion for dogs and want to own your own business climb aboard now or get left behind. Once you are aboard enjoy the ride….it’s a great one!"

"Sit Means Sit's training offers the most versatile training that I've seen. As a professional dog trainer owning my own business since 1985, I recognized immediately when I saw the application on a very shy non‐socialized dog that within minutes was able to break through some of it's fears and walk with a man he didn't know, but not only that, this dog was then walked by every other man at the seminar. It was amazing to see the transformation."

"This dog was able to break through the stress and conflict of being around and walking with a human, I knew that this would have taken months and maybe never achieved the same level of confidence I saw occur before my eyes, from the very shy dog. I decided to look further and today here I am working with the best of the best in the business.

"The pet client that has a need for immediate results can't believe what can be done with their own dogs right before their eyes. Since all the competitive sports require competitions to be done without training aids, dogs that have the remote collar skills we are teaching have an ability to really shine with their understanding of off leash and distance skill.

"The support system Sit Means Sit offers their franchisee's is one of the finest systems in place for anyone wanting to gain knowledge or help in any phase of their Sit means Sit business. It's terrific to see where Sit Mean Sit started and how it has grown and the quality individuals that are building the kind of quality and guaranty in their work that makes me proud to be associated with them."

"I joined Sit Means Sit one year ago. I was looking to supplement my income and to have an opportunity to be in business for myself again. I had minimal experience as a dog trainer. My first year anniversary has recently passed and my business has exceeded all of my expectations."

"I came out of school ready to move forward. It was the holiday season so it took me a few weeks to get going. Now, I have well over 100 clients, a facility, and two full time trainers in addition to myself. I have been busy with many events and have become a respected name in the community. We have done charity events, parades and library events for kids. We are known in my area to be able to work with aggressive dogs successfully.

"Most of all, I am having a great time! I enjoy working with my family, my dogs, and my friends. I get the help and support I need with the corporate office. The continuing education has been awesome and has allowed me to improve my skills and knowledge base. I know there is always someone to give me advice and support when needed.

"I am a registered nurse and continue to work part time, not for financial reasons, but for the love of helping people. I never thought I could be rewarded anymore than with nursing. I love seeing the smile on a faces of my clients when they are so proud of how their dogs behave, the pleasure they get when they take their dogs out in public and how happy their dogs are. While different in terms of reward, it is equally fulfilling.

"When working for yourself the challenges are different than collecting a paycheck, I have been on both sides in the past. This is not my first business, but this is the most successful first year I have ever had in any business venture. I live in a smaller town in Colorado, one that does not have the highest pay scale in the state. So with hard work and the willingness to provide a valuable service to my clients my business is thriving. It is my desire to contiue to grow with Sit Means Sit and provide the best customer service I am able to for the people in Southern Colorado. I want to thank Fred, Lianne, and the corporate staff for all of the support they have given me!"
